Marquette’s Blueberry Festival Returns July 30, 2021

MARQUETTE, MI – Preparation is underway for the annual Downtown Marquette Blueberry Festival, set for Friday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Downtown Marquette. This year, a “lite” version of the Blueberry Festival will take place, with a scaled-back version of the event planned. The 100 block of W. Washington St. and 100 & 200 blocks of S. Front St. will have sidewalk sales, food vendors, artists, musicians, pony rides, and more. Downtown restaurants will satisfy your cravings for blueberry fare, from blueberry pizza to blueberry beer, while many downtown shops offer will offer “blue” specials.

Music sponsored by Travel Marquette will fill the streets as live musicians perform throughout the day at three locations throughout the festival: near the Phil Niemisto Pocket Park on W. Washington St., near the corner of Front and Washington Streets, and near the Rosewood Walkway on S. Front St.
