Luke G, born and bred Yooper from Gwinn, MI, is all about sports! Luke has plenty of experience both on the field and in the announcers box. After spending two years at Muskegon Community College playing basketball, Luke transferred to Central Michigan University to study Broadcasting & Cinematic Arts. About Tyler
The play-by-play voice of the Ishpeming Hematites, Tyler Young is passionate about sports of all kinds. Born and raised in Marquette, Tyler has always loved learning about sports that are foreign to him, which is one of the many reasons why he supports and is a member of the trust that owns AFC Wimbledon, a Third-Tier English soccer team. Closer to home, he is a die-hard fan of the Northern Michigan University hockey team and loves going to Lambeau Field whenever he can to watch the Packers.
