Marquette, MI – January 27, 2022 – Tonight was the 4th annual HBA Wild Game Dinner at NMU! The night included dinner, tables & items for raffle, and more! The HBA holds this dinner to raise money for scholarships to help students get into the trades and construction every year!

The dinner included braised venison tips, maple bison meatballs, and rack of boar. On the side there was brussel sprouts caesar salad, spinach salad, italian pasta, wild rice, mashed potatoes, and garlic lemon broccolini. For dessert there was a delicious creme caramel with whipped cream and berries!If you had a dinner ticket you also were gifted with a commemorative beer glass that could be used for free beer throughout the night! There was also a bar with other drinks available as well.
There was also Man Cave table and She Shed table!
Our very own Adam Carpenter emceed the event, announced prize winners, and kept the night moving! The themed tables included The Man Cave, The She Shed, Bow Hunting, and Hunting Tables. Also, Ice Fishing, Fly Fishing, Fishing, and Tool Tables, Camping Table, No Cooking Table, The Yooper Outdoors Table, and finally the Midway Rentals Table! There was a table with many items for silent auction, and kids only prizes.
There was also a Jewelry raffle with the winner winning a $1000 piece of jewelry. Last but not least there was a “Pistol In A Purse” raffle, Firearm raffle, bucket raffles, and cash raffles. The grand prize was a Hellcat 9mm sponsored by Bera Windows & Doors.

We all played a game of heads or tails to win the painted deer saw!Sarah tossed a coin, put your hands on your head for heads, or you tail for tails!Adam Carpenter was out emcee for the night!Sarah and the HBA gifted Adam with this painting of a dog!
