Position Overview:

Take a step into your future in multimedia production and content management. Would you make a good candidate for our web design and digital marketing team? We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to work under our web department’s director to engage in graphic design, website management, copywriting, social media content creation, and office tech support. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience on real world projects, while contributing to our innovative initiatives & community-centered events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update websites regularly, including writing articles and designing graphics as needed
  • Assist in new website builds and maintain existing sites through back-end tasks
  • Design print and digital content such as contest imagery, marketing proposals, and web banners
  • Craft engaging articles on various topics for different audiences
  • Manage radio stations’ social media presence across multiple platforms
  • Attend client or community events to capture photographs and write post-event articles
  • Email management
  • Office tech support
  • Internet protocol management
  • SEO & optimized copywriting

Required Skills (Items in bold are most needed):

Graphic Design & Photography:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Understanding of color theory and experience designing for both print and digital media
  • Ability to accept feedback and incorporate it into your work

Web Design:

  • Familiarity with basic User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) principles
  • Experience with WordPress theme builders and editors
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS and understanding of SEO implementation
  • Experience in event photography
  • Familiarity with Google Web Designer
  • Ability to write proposals
  • Email management
  • Willingness to learn new software like Asana and Clockify
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation required

Expected hours: 20 per week
