Sunny 101.9 WKQS Wins 2020 Station of the Year Title from Michigan Association of Broadcasters
Marquette, MI – March 26, 2021 – mediaBrew Communications’ Sunny 101.9 WKQS has been named as the Market 4 Commerical Radio Station of the Year in Michigan for the second year in a row! This makes it the fifth time Sunny has been awarded Station of the Year since 2003.
The Michigan Association of Broadcasters made the announcement over an online ceremony Friday morning from their headquarters in Lansing. Sunny 101.9 has also been awarded nine individual awards across different categories. The awards include Breaking News, Continuing Coverage, Investigate Story, Mini Documentary or Series, Commerical, Best Marketing / Promo, Morning Show Broadcast Personality or Team, and Best Regularly Scheduled Broadcast Personality or Team.
