Marquette County based non-profit organization Connect Marquette is actively accepting applications for new Board Members to join the professional development organization. Inducted applicants will take on leadership roles filling several open positions for the 2022 term including Events Committee Chair, Marketing Committee Co-Chair, Iron Range Roll Chair, Conference Committee Chair, and General Board Member.
As a board member, the time commitment for this volunteer position includes a one-hour monthly meeting, as well as assisting with at least one of the several committees within Connect Marquette. Board Members also serve as an ambassador to the community and are expected to attend select organization events throughout the year. Additional duties may be required based on individual positions. Terms are two years in duration, with the opportunity to renew for a second term.
Connect Marquette’s mission is to facilitate the growth of talent, connections, community, and leadership opportunities in Marquette County. Professionals applying to join the Board should share the same ideals and goals for our local community.
